Tiffany Poirier is an award-winning teacher, author and illustrator, and curriculum designer who shares her passion for philosophy as an elementary school teacher in Surrey, British Columbia.
Tiffany holds a Masters in Educational Administration and Leadership (UBC, 2012), a Bachelor of Education (UBC, 2006), a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (University of Victoria, 2004) and a Certificate in Performing Arts (Canadian College of Performing Arts, 2000). She also received training through the Institute for the Advancement of Philosophy for Children (Montclair State University, 2007).
Tiffany presents workshops for teachers and youth, creates curriculum materials, and writes articles and books. Tiffany is also the founder of The Teaching Coats Project, The Learning Coats Project, Richer Learning, and Personal Interest Projects.
